sublime is just not the same though I heard they put on a pretty good show on maui. speaking of showings, I haven't put on any good ones despite my efforts. seems the high winds and I are not in sync.
it's early, a blog entry is long over due and I am exhausted. no, not from sailing ridiculously overpowered but from the three hour bachelorette season finale. after a season of intense moments, many man-tears, she finally found love. I may not be able to perform well in high winds but once again, I picked the love-match. making me 9 seasons for 9. wonder if being a matchmaker is my true calling.
at least a few times per year I think 'what is my true calling'?
why is it some just know what they are meant to do
and others (such as myself) are clueless. at least I can waterstart clew
first.
until I figure out my true calling, guess I'll keep working. though 40hrs (what? I
know, ridiculous) is 20hrs too much. doesn't leave me time to write, relax, sail,
read, hang with my peeps, ponder nail color and catch up on my trashy tv shows. if you don't find me at simmer look for me at studio 22k. her pieces are handcrafted and amazing.
maui has its first round-a-bout which we went 'round and 'round a couple of times to test it. if you are new to such a traffic control device, remember when the pedestrian lights are blinking STOP. I remember the 1st one in my home town and how much fun we had late night, squealing the tires as we went 'round and 'round (it was even more fun in the snow).
what else is new...
2013 sail info has been released and rumor is they arrive at the shop next month. what a great bday gift for me = a new quiver. will I need a new bikini to go with my winter quiver? am I sweet enough to ride the 'halo'? or does the blacktip better suit my personality?
the king of maui blogs has plenty of wavy stories so be sure to go there to get your fix. my only wave stories are we took the gang to ho'okipa for a small kine surf session. the surfdiva and I caught a few waves which was a better showing than the one I had at launiupoko. a couple weeks ago, it was overhead and closing out. who knew I could get beaten up so badly at a beginner break. witnesses reported that as I dove through the wave face the surfdiva would shoot up into the sky like a rocket. one good thing is that it made the waves as ho'okipa seem user friendly though the groms were fairly aggressive. I sat at what's called 'girly bowl' so to keep out the way.
I've gotta run so to save me typing time, here's a photo essay...
let's hope this gets resolved (not my point of view but people are talkin')
before this shows up
not afraid to get dirty, this was my day off

| herbs - ok we were a bit short on grass |
found this and sent it back to the ocean
free is tempting but then again
val treated me to a bit of this
and mother nature treated me to a bit of that
don't worry, when the waves show up I'll be ready and of course, there are no regrets hanging in my closet...
windorwithout expanded...
